ALPS light LXN guides are the foundation of any great lightweight casting rod or fly rod. Similar in construction to the titanium light LXN guides, these are a great option when seeking a light framed casting guide. Rated for up to 17lb test, but weighing in 28% lighter than comparable tri-legged guides thanks to the SS316 stainless steel frame that also provides extreme corrosion resistance. ALPS light LXN guides feature the recessed ring design (RRD) creating a wider gluing surface between the ceramic ring and guide frame. This enhancing feature ensures the bond between the ring and frame is secure while also protecting the ring from impact. Due to the unique frame design, the ALPS light LXN nearly eliminate line wrap while also increasing strength without adding needless weight.
