As a custom rod builder, I’m always looking for components that combine strength, weight savings, and a clean professional look. The Forecast Carbon Reel Seat Insert checks all three boxes.

The carbon fiber finish looks excellent once installed and pairs perfectly with modern reel seats and custom builds. It’s lightweight but still feels solid and rigid once epoxied in place. The material is easy to work with, trims cleanly, and fits well with standard components.
